Boise Software Developers Group

About Us

Mission

First off, we hate mission statements.

To facilitate a discussion environment for developers and IT professionals focusing on building real-world solutions using the various development platforms, but focusing mainly on the Microsoft.NET platform.  By and large we are a group of software pragmatists, we will use whatever technology best fit our current needs.

We provide the opportunity for members to share knowledge and participate in advanced technological discussions with other local community members and other industry recognized leaders.

The group has been around now for about 15 years in various forms.  At one point it was a Clipper Group, then trasnitioned to Delphi, then just to a Borland Group (BSDG was then the Borland Software Developers Group).

Past leaders include Rich Hundhausen and Jim McKeeth.

Now, in its current formation, the Boise Software Developers Group, the group is largely .Net focused, but eagerly welcomes other technologies.  By and large we are a group of software pragmatists, we will use whatever technology best fit our current needs.
